About The Ackley Lab

The Ackley Lab is in The Department of Molecular Biosciences at The University of Kansas. We study neuronal development and physiology using  C. elegans via a combination of genetics, chemical biology, cell biology and biochemistry. Our goals are to contribute to an understanding of the molecular mechanisms of axon growth, synapse formation and the regulation of extracellular pH. Eventually, you will find detailed descriptions of our main projects on this site, including as up-to-date progress as I can manage.  Feel free to comment on the experimental sections, but as there may be unpublished data, please do not publish information from this site without permission.

If you are interested in any of our work, need reagents or have questions feel free to contact me bdackley [at] ku.edu
